Is Anyone Using Medifast?

I have a niece who just became a health coach for Medifast and she was curious if I knew of anyone who uses Medifast.  She has lost 50 lbs. on the program and she said a woman at her meeting who has CFS & FM has seen improvement since using the products.  This was what she sent to me via email:

Last night at the Take Shape for Life meeting one of the ladies shared that she has fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. She works 5 hours a day and when she would come home she would sleep or be in bed very early. Since starting the program she stated she has so much more energy, even her husband commented about it. She says now she is up to 10 or 11 at night and feels great!

I told her that I did not know of anyone using Medifast but I would find out by posting about it on here.  If you would like to check out Medifast, you can view her site by clicking here.   I know nothing about the products but I am going to a tasting in June so I might have more information by then.  Please comment if you have tried it, if Medifast has helped or if you know of someone who has used it.

well, I just started Medifast and was wondering if it would be safe to use a diet supplement such as Hydroxycut along with the diet.

I was using Medifast, but had to stop as it was too expensive. I had good results and the food tasted great. Blood Presure was great and the weight just melted off each week. When I have more money I plan too get the food again.

I lost 50 lbs in 4 months with Medifast and my chronic debilitating fatigue disappeaed. This was 4 years ago. I have since gained back 10 lbs and my fatigue returned not long after going off the Medifast. I thought all this time that the fatigue was because of my thyroid, then gluten but my dose has been increased three times more with no effect. I am now back on Medifast (day 4), gluten free to see if it will help the fatigue. Losing the 10 lbs would just be icing on the cake (that I can’t have). The only 2 changes I had made before was a slight increase in thyroid and beginning the medifast diet. My thyroid levels are where they should be so hoping and wondering if the Medifast was responsible for relieving my fatigue. I forgot how difficult the first week was but I also hadn’t realized that my diet had slipped back into almost all carbs. Also before Medifast I was pre-diabetic, high cholesterol and triglycerides, and high blood pressure which was all resolved after only one month on Medifast.

I’m on my 3rd week of Medifast and I am exhausted! So fatigued. I have used Medifast in the past and lost 30lbs…but gained it all back within 6 months after stopping it. I don’t remember being this fatigued. I have fibromyalgia, thyroid and Graves’ disease, and Hashimotos. I am wondering if the medifast is affecting any of those.

I have fibromyalgia and I started Take Shape For Life (medifast) six weeks ago. I feel so absolutely fantastic and renewed that I began coaching. I AM a believer! I have proof through my instagram at how horrible I felt even two months ago.

Could the fatigue be caused by adrenal fatigue? I finally found out that that is what I have, so it is important to get that taken care of before you go on the Medifast diet. I lost 40 lbs on Medifast but gained all the weight back and realized that I have almost all of the symptoms of Adrenal Fatigue. I want to take care of that first. The diet for adrenal fatigue is high fat, medium protein, and low carb. Look for Dr. Berg on YouTube.
