I.C. Disease Flare…Ouch!

Yesterday I was feeling rather crappy and I just blamed it on CFS at first. Then around lunchtime I started getting this old, familiar, excruciating pain in my lower abdomen, bladder, pelvis and vaginal area. It hurts so bad I can’t even walk upright.

Then it hit me…the I.C. Disease is flaring. Although I have had “mini-flares” over the past year or so it hasn’t been anything like this. I haven’t felt this much pain from my I.C. since I was first diagnosed. My sides even hurt – those sharp, stabbing type pains that I remember so well.

I don’t even feel like being on the computer so you know it’s bad. Tonight I have my son’s T-ball game so I hope that I am feeling better by then. If not, I might not be able to go.

Tomorrow I am scheduled to go to the F & F Center for my monthly IV. The IVs include a DMSO and that is what started helping my IC initially. I hope I feel better after that!
