Gulf War Syndrome – Does it Exist?

I was watching Dr. House last week and the episode was about a man who fought in the Gulf war, who claimed to have Gulf War Syndrome.

The actors on the show talked about there not being such a thing as Gulf War Syndrome, and this reminded me of how those of us with CFS have been treated.  From some reports that I have found of studies that have been done, it is being said that Gulf War Syndrome is actually CFS and Fibromyalgia.

Regardless, these men need to be taken seriously and they needed to be taken seriously when they first became ill many years ago.  It’s a shame that they fought for our country, yet are told they’re not sick when they come home.

Here is an article talking about Gulf War Syndrome being CFS and Fibromyalgia.
