Well, it looks like I’m going to have to wait two more weeks to find out if I possibly have skin cancer. The dermatologist’s office called last Thursday and said the doctor has to perform surgery on July 10th and they were rescheduling all of his appointments.
This waiting and wondering is driving me nuts!
Last week I found out my skin cancer was caused by this new Afro American Incidental Ultraviolet Light Transference. What a nightmare. Blacks’ skin absorbs ultraviolt light and releases it as heat. But researchers are now finding with the increased amounts of uv coming through the Ozone are not all of it is released as heat. When indoors, like in the work environment, it is released as ultraviolet light. Good luck.
it took me over a month to get my appointment with dermatologist. it seems like the first appointment with specialists always have long waits. all i can say is hang in there. and if it is anything like the skin cancer i had, it was very slow growing. good luck. – larissa
