Clinical Trial: Study of the Autonomic Nervous System in CFS Patients

The Vanderbilt University Medical Centers Autonomic Dysfunction Center in Nashville, Tennessee is currently recruiting patients with and without POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) for the study of the Autonomic Nervous System in CFS involving experimental interventions.

The study is designed to determine if the sympathetic nervous system contributes to the cardiovascular and inflammatory abnormalities present in CFS and particularly in the subset of patients characterized by POTS.

Anyone who is interested in participating in this clinical trial will need to fill out a questionnaire regarding their symptoms at the Vanderbilt Autonomic Dysfunction Center website.
