I have found blogging to be a very therapeutic and exciting hobby for myself. Having CFS, Fibromyalgia and Interstitial Cystitis has taken a lot of joy out of my life, but thanks to blogging, I have found something that I can do for me.
The nice thing about blogging is that I can do a little or a lot, WHEN I feel like it! If I don’t feel good, then I don’t worry about blogging.
Through blogging, I have been able to reach out and offer support to others and that makes my life worthwhile as well. If you are chronically ill, bored and need a hobby – try blogging! It’s fun!
I agree, the great thing about blogging is I don’t have to wear shoes. I would love to do a link exchange, I’ll work something up in the next few days & pm you at link & blog, have a great day!
Thanks, Sara! That would be fun!
I also agree. I’ve migrated to the US from Australia to be with my partner and found I don’t really have any friends. I am trying to study for my medical boards and find blogging a way to diffuse my stress. Well it works a bit, not all the time. I also find a way to get advice that I can’t always get even from those closest to you. What do you think?
Hi Natalie! I do not have much of a social life either because I had to give up working due to being sick and just not having the energy.
A lot of times it is easier to take and get advice from strangers, and it is better advice, because those people are not emotionally attached to you and they can be more objective. Thanks for stopping by!
