Trigger Point Pressure For Painful Spots

There is a technique that can help alleviate the pain in your tender spots, caused by Fibromyalgia.  You can push on the tender spots for 30 – 45 seconds while applying 20 – 30 pounds of pressure (with your thumb).  At first, your tender spots will be very tender and painful but then the pain will subside.  This can be done along with a massage.  It is not recommended to try and treat dozens of tender spots at one time, but it can be helpful for a few of them!  I have tried it and it does help.
