The Silent Disability: Urinary Incontinence

I started suffering from incontinence a few years ago before my Interstitial Cystitis diagnosis and at first I was too embarrassed to talk to my urologist about it. But incontinence is a real condition that needs to be treated and it is something that doctors can help you with whether it be through medication, exercises or surgery. For women with IC Disease, incontinence is a symptom that affects many of us.

I found this video on You Tube and thought it was very informative and explained the causes and why women have incontinence in an easy to understand manner. Most people assume that incontinence only happens to elderly women but it’s not so. There are many of us in our thirties who suffer from this. Watch the video and let me know what you think!

Incontinence is a serious issue when it comes to seniors. It is a difficult issue to talk about once your loved ones reach that age. The only thing you can do is talk about it and find the operation, drug or incontinent product that will best help solve your particular issue.
