European researchers have found that swimming can ease the pain of Fibromyalgia. The study involved 33 women where researchers had one group exercise in warm water for more than an hour three times a week for eight months while the others did no aquatic training.

The women who swam said the workouts helped to ease their pain and they also noted an improved quality of life.

The researchers did not compare aquatic training with any other form of exercise.

My mom has fibromyalgia and has found help in swimming for years. I’m glad to hear this has been researched.
