I started stenciling my son’s bedroom today and it looks pretty good so far! It took me almost three hours to do just one wall and I was feeling pretty tired afterward. It feels good to be productive and to feel like I am accomplishing something. Even with being chronically ill, I have to say that I don’t give up easily!

So cute! I’m sure your son loves it.
I have no talents in this area at all. I can’t draw or even trace LOL.

That looks great! Can you tell me how you do this?

Hi Ginene! I bought the stencils at Michaels. There is a three-pack of stencils that had race cars on them. I figured out how I wanted to layout the stencilng on the wall by stenciling on paper first. Then my husband cut out the stencils for me and I just taped them to the wall and painted away!

Hi, Connie! Thanks! The stenciling part takes time, but it is simple. Just put the stencil on the wall and paint.
Ginene says
Oh thanks! I have always wanted to know how to do this!
