Polymyalgia Rheumatica is a disorder that is a form of arthritis. Many symptoms of Polymyalgia Rheumatica mimic those of Fibromyalgia. The difference is Polymyalgia Rheumatica is diagnosed through blood tests. Polymyalgia patients will show a negative rheumatoid factor in their blood that rules out rheumatoid arthritis and they will have a positive SED rate.
