I just found out over the weekend that my brother-in-law has a tumor at the base of his esophagus that is covering the opening to his stomach.  The doctors told him that it is oddly shaped.  I am really worried for him.  Apparently, he has been throwing up after eating and having problems for quite a while and never told anybody.  He must have thrown up at home and he forgot to flush the toilet and my sister-in-law found it.  He is such a great guy and he is always doing for others and never complaining.

I was sick most of last week and before I knew what was going on with him, I was talking to my sister-in-law about being sick all week.  After I found out, I felt really bad then about saying anything about me being sick when they are going through that.  I cannot even imagine what he must be going through, and I was complaining about having the stomach bug.  Things like this definitely make you think and it truly makes me grateful that even though I am chronically ill, I am not going through what they are.  Anyone reading this, please keep my brother-in-law in your prayers.

I’m so sorry to hear that – please keep us updated on your brother’s condition. Does it appear to be a benign growth? Or is he going to need more extensive treatment?

Thanks, PC. They are not sure yet if it is benign or not. I found out this afternoon that he will go tomorrow to find out for sure. I will update my blog then. Thanks again!

By the way, I saw the picture of your daughter on your site – she is absolutely gorgeous!

okay, i hope it goes well.

and thanks – that pic is a couple years old, so she’s a “big girl” now, but it’s still one of my faves. I think pictures that combine kids and flowers are the best. hee hee
