National Fibromyalgia Awareness Day is coming in less than two months – May 12, 2008! In honor of this special health awareness day, the National Fibromyalgia Association is holdinga Walk of FAME (Fibromyalgia Awareness Means Everything)- Caring by Sharing the Path.

The Inaugeral Walk of Fame 5K walk/run and 10K run will be held on May 10, 2008 at The Block at Orange in Orange County, CA. To register to attend this event in California, you can click this link. There is a $35 registration fee and you have to fill out a liability waiver.

If you don’t live anywhere near California (like me!) but you would like to participate in an event like this, you can follow the NFA guide to creating your own Walk of FAME in your town.

If you have coordinated any kind of special event for Fibromyalgia Awareness Day, the NFA wants to know about it and you can register your event on their website.
