Motivation for Exercise

I hate exercising mainly because whenever I do exercise, I end up in a CFS flare. I have started out slow, only a few minutes of working out at a time, and then built it up over several weeks. Then I have a set back because it was too strenuous and I end up having to start all over again.

I need something to give me the motivation to exercise, whether it be a swift kick in the butt or…well, I’m not sure what!

What gives you the motivation for exercise?

Sometimes I actually manage to convince myself that it’s good for me and I’ll feel better if I stick with it. But in my mind I’ve made a deal with myself that if I exercise for so many minutes I can take double the time and take a soak or read blogs or do something else that I like more.
