IV Therapy – Best Results To Date

I have been going to the Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Centers now for a little over a year.  By far, I have seen the most improvement from the IV therapy offered.  The pills, supplements, and such (besides my Thyroid and Cortisol meds) do not seem to make much of a difference with me, but the IV therapies do.  Unfortunately, I live over 2 hours away from the treatment center, so I can only get the IV treatments monthly.  There are different IV therapies offered by FFC.  I normally get the Back & Muscle IV, which I am going to discuss below first, and it helps with pain.  These IV’s also give me that extra little “boost” and I do feel an improvement in energy for a few days after.

Treatment:   Standard Nutritional IV

Indication Overview:   Standard IV therapy decreases severity of symptoms by balancing essential vitamin and mineral levels.

Magnesium – Is a critical mineral related to cellular activity, nerve and muscle function.  FM/CFIDS patients benefit from Magnesium for proper muscle function and relaxation anti stressor capabilities, decreasing fatigue, and increasing pain tolerance.

Calcium – Works hand in hand with Magnesium for muscle and nerve function.

Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) – This is a powerful antioxidant and anti-stress vitamin.

Vitamin B6 – To metabolize proteins, fats, carbohydrates, to make hormones and neurotransmitters, and to support the immune system.

Vitamin B12 – Essential for many critical functions including metabolism, iron absorption, formation of new cells and its ability to decrease body fatigue.

B Complex – Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacinamide, Dexpanthanol and Pyroxidine. B Vitamins help the body convert fats, carbohydrates and proteins into energy.

Low levels of B12 can manifest as muscle pain, fatigue, digestive disturbances, insomnia, and irritability.

AMP – Cells use AMP and ATP to produce energy, boost mitochondrial function.

Lidocaine – A local anesthetic to provide comfort, reducing pain at the infusion site.

Sodium Bicarbonate – Reduces acidity.

Acetyl-L-Carnitine – This enhances cellular energy in the brain to improve mental performance, aides in energy production, helps with weight loss and works as a fat burner, decreases symptoms of depression.

Glutathione – This is a powerful antioxidant shown to improve Alzheimers disease, brain function and reduce brain fog.

NADH – Stimulates energy production at the cellular level.  NADH is necessary for energy production.

D-ribose – Enhances energy production at the cellular level.

Tyrosine – Enhances cognitive ability and has anti-depressant effects.  Is a precursor to many neurotransmitters in the brain.

Treatment: Back and Muscle IV

Indication Overview:  For relief of muscle and joint pain.

See Standard IV ingredient list above, plus additional ingredients are added to aid in relief of muscle and joint discomfort.

DMSO – Dimethyl Sulfoxide – This has effects on connective tissue, anti-inflammation, nerve lockage , bacteriosis, nonspecific enhancement of resistance to infection, muscle relaxation, antagonism to platelet aggregation,a and influence on serum cholesterol.

Colchicine – Used to prevent or treat attacks of gout.
