According to a report by the National Institute of Health, the five most costly/expensive urologic problems include:

– Urinary Tract Infections
– Kidney Stones
– Prostate Cancer
– Bladder Cancer
– Benign Prostate Enlargement

Bladder, prostate and other urinary tract diseases cost Americans almost $11 billion a year. The five most expensive listed above cost $9.1 billion a year.

Interstitial Cystitis is listed in the top ten of most costly urologic diseases.
