Sinus Infection Causing Inner Ear Problems

I went to the doctor yesterday and found out that…surprise, surprise! I have another sinus infection. But this time, as an added bonus, it has caused “massive amounts” (doctor’s words) of fluid to build up in my right ear and there is a little fluid built up in my left ear. This is where the cold, wet feeling and the sensation of something crawling, or moving, has been coming from.
The doctor gave me Omnicef to take twice a day for 10 days and she hopes that this time the infection will not return. I had a really bad night. I have so much pressure in my head, it feels like it’s going to blow. I was awake until almost 6 a.m. this morning because of all of the pressure and head pain. I can’t lie down because the fluid is draining into my throat and it’s making me feel sick to my stomach. I hope the antibiotics start to kick in soon and the fluid and pressure decreases.
So where does all of this fluid that is built up go? Will the antibiotics dry it up or will it drain out of my ears and nose?

That’s really annoying, hope the antibiotics will start to kick in to stop your problem.
